Can God be more clear?
We are rewarded or punished for what we say and do.
Proverbs 12:14 CEV
I don’t think this verse could be worded any different to make it more clear. The only room for speculation is how timely the reward or punishment. Sometimes we are rewarded or punished immediately, sometimes the reaction for what we say and do is more long term. Either way what we do and say has consequences.
We are told the level of responsibility we must except. The reward or punishment is determined by what WE say or do not God.
12:14 (KJV) A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him.
