Do you go into war without your shield?

Every word of God is pure; He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him

Proverbs 30:5 KJV

So many times I don’t turn to the Lord and try do things myself. The shield is there, I just don’t use it all the time. Is it pride or lack of wisdom? Either way I am going to carry it with me today
